Clements McCulloch Abstract Artists began in 2020, during the global COVID-19 pandemic—a time when the world slowed down and space for creativity opened up. With work temporarily paused, Ian McCulloch returned fully to his lifelong interest in art, marking the beginning of what would become ClementsMcCulloch.com.

With a background as a Graphics teacher, Ian brought a strong foundation in colour theory, composition, and visual communication to his practice. His wife, author Anne (Clements) McCulloch, played a vital creative role from the outset, offering an intuitive and discerning eye for balance and authenticity. Together, they chose to work under Anne’s maiden name, Clements McCulloch, as a shared creative identity for the artwork.

What began with friends and family acquiring pieces for their homes gradually grew through word of mouth and advertising. Over time, demand increased, and the collection expanded beyond local sales to reach a wider audience online. Today, original artworks and high-quality prints are available through this website, as well as selected online platforms and social media.
